Auckland International Airport’s passenger volumes almost halved during March, falling 42 percent to 1.08 million, as travel restrictions were imposed by the government to contain the covid-19 outbreak. International passengers were down 43.2 percent at 513,455, while domestic passengers fell 40.1 percent to 531,509.
