Queenstown-Lakes councillors have agreed to top up funding by $20.6 million to get the town's arterial "stage one" project completed, with more cost blowouts on the horizon.The Queenstown Lakes District Council (QLDC) has signalled the CBD bypass through Henry and Melbourne Streets could breach its new $108.8m estimate, already more than double the $49.5m price-tag scoped under the original 2021-31 10-year plan.
