Another day, another damning independent report on the Ports of Auckland (POAL).The latest review into the port's failed six-year automation project at its container terminal painted a picture of a disconnect between senior port management and the project team.Auckland mayor Phil Goff insisted on the debrief following the decision by the port's board to scuttle the project on June 8, after commissioning two separate technical reports into the project.That resulted in a write-off of $63.1 million, including "impairment" expense...
