Ports of Auckland (POAL) shut down its automated terminal operations overnight due to a software glitch it has yet to resolve.It said the issues did not stem from an external cyber attack, but the port runs an autonomous system in managing its terminals.Last month, POAL delayed the full launch of its much delayed automation project citing ongoing technical and safety assurance issues.In an advisory to customers, POAL said it is now unable to deliver or receive containers via the automated truck grid, nor move containers in the automated yard.Th...
