The competition to develop New Zealand’s national stadium is coming down to the wire, with one project now backed by the world’s largest venue management company.In September 2023, Auckland Council asked for proposals to develop a "national stadium" in addition to the city's existing stadiums.After considering eight proposals, a council working group recommended Eden Park 2.1 and Te Tōangaroa/Quay Park be invited to develop feasibility studies at their own cost, enabling a more detailed analysis of their viability.&nbs...
