Refining NZ posts $186.3m loss, prepares for reduced operation

Refining NZ said a simplified refining operation at Marsden Point will help it maintain operations through an extended period of low margins while the company considers shifting to fuel imports. The company, which today reported a $186.3 million half-year loss, is planning to keep operating in a low-volume mode while continues its strategic review.
