I hope you weren’t stuck for hours yesterday in typical Easter Holiday weekend traffic. I left Auckland heading north early on Friday to avoid the worst of the traffic because the much-anticipated Puhoi to Warkworth motorway is still not open. As any driver regularly heading north out of Auckland north knows, when it's busy you're in a massive go-slow starting at the Puhoi tunnel and lasting for miles. Auckland is not alone in suffering from infrastructure woes.
