Treasury looking for lawyers to assist with Cook Strait ferries tender

The Government is likely to ask up to six shipyards to take part in a procurement process for two new Interislander ferries, new tender documents indicate.Treasury is currently advertising on the Government Electronic Tender Services (GETS) website for quotes from maritime lawyers interested in working on a ships procurement plan.The central agency is leading the work while the Government moves to establish Ferry Holdings Ltd, a Schedule 4a company under the Public Finance Act.Minister for Rail Winston Peters and Finance Minister Nicola Willis...
