A Chinese state-owned enterprise has come to the New Zealand courts arguing it should be allowed to enforce a $23 million judgment here.    The novel case concerning the legitimacy of the Chinese courts was heard in the High Court at Auckland before associate judge Roger Bell yesterday.Hebei Huaneng Industrial, one of the five biggest state-owned electricity enterprises in China, is fighting DeMing Shi, who gave personal guarantees as part of a contract his company, Boen Capital Co, had supplying coal to the Chinese firm.The court hea...
