A former school lunch supplier whose owner says she put her “life’s work” into the business has gone into liquidation, owing creditors nearly $100,000. Auckland-based commercial food supplier Secret Chef is the latest victim of the Government’s changes to the Ka Ora, Ka Ako – Healthy School Lunches Programme and shift to a single national supplier. Libelle, which had been contracted to produce 125,000 meals a day, announced this month that it had gone into liquidation.Libelle was part of the School L...
