An insurance company being pursued by global building materials company James Hardie for $32.5 million in legal fees has failed in its attempt to have matters heard in an Australian court.James Hardie successfully defended two multi-property weathertightness cases with more than $300m in claims under two Zurich Australian Insurance policies.The cases were known as the White and Cridge cases, after the lead plaintiff home owners. A judgment by Justice Greg Blanchard on Oct 25 said James Hardie's claims sought legal costs totalling about...
