A law change extending the deadline to lodge a workplace sexual harassment grievance from three months to a year has been introduced into Parliament.The Employment Relations (Extended Time for Personal Grievance for Sexual Harassment) Amendment Bill was drawn from the member’s ballot today in the name of Labour MP Deborah Russell.The New Lynn MP said the bill recognises that sexual harassment differs in many ways from other employment grievances.“It ensures that an employee who has been sexually harassed has more time to process wha...
