The Ministry of Social Development has come out swinging against claims made by philanthropists Grant and Marilyn Nelson about its handling of the covid wage subsidy scheme.It disputes the Nelson’s claim that the Ministry of Social Development (MSD) had overpaid the wage subsidy by up to $10 billion. MSD’s group general manager of client service support, George van Ooyen, said in a statement the figure seemed to be based on a misunderstanding of the criteria for the scheme. The Nelsons launched a multi-media advertising ca...
