Health minister Ayesha Verrall will further tweak legislation to regulate medicines, medical devices and natural health products to exempt small manufacturers from the new regime. Parliament’s health select committee, chaired by Labour’s Tracey McLellan, reported back on the Therapeutics Products Bill recommending by majority that the law be passed. The National party's minority report opposed the bill, calling it overreach and saying it was concerned by the removal of online importation of medicines, the regulation of...
