Luke Cunningham Clere chair Dale La Hood has been appointed a judge of the high court and will sit in Wellington from Oct 25. As a crown prosecutor, La Hood focused on prosecuting serious crimes such as sexual abuse, complex fraud and homicide, and he’s acted for public organisations around human rights, regulatory enforcement, professional discipline and health. Among those cases, La Hood was lead counsel in the fraud convictions of tax advisers Barrie Skinner and David Rowley and was second counsel in the securities law prosec...
