Disgruntled owners of leaky homes have been left high and dry in their class actions against building products makers, with James Hardie and Carter Holt Harvey both receiving payments in settling the suits. Harbour Litigation Funding will pay $1.25 million to building products maker James Hardie settling a negligence claim by owners of more than 1,200 homes.The ASX-listed company today said it had settled the litigation in a full and final settlement halfway through the 17-week trial in the high court in Auckland without any admission of l...
