Analysts remain cautious on KMD Brands, after its strategic reset that includes closing at least 21 stores. Late last week, KMD announced that it was targeting $10 million in cost out over the next 12 months, with $25m in cost out being offset by $15m in investment into the business. It also announced the store closures and told investors that several additional stores will need to improve per-store profitability, or they will also be closed, according to Forsyth Barr analysts Paul Laxton Koraua and Rohan Koreman Smit.“Whil...
