Total monthly data use in New Zealand has surpassed the peaks seen during the covid lockdowns in 2021.According to fibre infrastructure company Chorus, the average amount of data used per person for June 2024 was 623 gigabytes (GB). That was 2GB more than the previous highest average monthly use in 2021 and 25 GB more than the March 2024 average of 598 GB.Fibre data demand continues to rocket.
