Ebos spent A$10.1 million ($10.7m) on mergers and acquisitions, including its failed A$4 billion bid to buy Australian pet care company Greencross. The New Zealand stock exchange (NZX) listed company reported underlying net profit after tax of A$152.4m for the six months to Dec 31, an increase of 7.6%. The health and animal care company said underlying earnings before interest, taxation, depreciation and amortisation (Ebitda) rose 8.3% to A$313.2m with underlying revenue increasing 7.1% to A$6.6 billion. It stripped out one-off m...
