A tech-focused venture capital fund has experienced a windfall from golden visa investors, receiving in the first quarter of its 2026 financial year more than double what it raised from applicants in all of 2025.Punakaiki Fund’s 2025 financial year included its largest ever exit.Quantifi Photonics was acquired by Nasdaq-listed electronics company Teradyne, yielding the fund US$13.6 million (about NZ$22.5m) with additional payments to follow. The overall fund value was $105.4m on March 31, 2025, with an $11.7m profit for the year.As a...
