Dual-listed infrastructure group Infratil has announced that Andrew Clark will be appointed as a new independent director of the infrastructure investment company.
Infratil chair Alison Gerry announced Clark’s appointment to the Infratil board today, and the announcement was also made to the NZX.
“Andrew is an experienced strategist and transformation executive with over 30 years of diverse management consulting experience,” Gerry said.
She said Clark had held senior roles within the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and served as country head in Indonesia and New Zealand.
From 2014 to 2017, Clark was the chief executive of BCG’s Australia and New Zealand business.
Clark, who starts his new role straight away, will still be required to retire and seek election at the 2022 annual meeting.
Infratil announced in mid-May that director Gerry was succeeding the company’s chair Mark Tume when he stepped down on May 30.
Infratil shares were up 0.2% to $7.75 in mid-morning trading on the NZX.
