The heavy trading in Auckland International Airport shares captured the attention of the New Zealand sharemarket, while the other stocks had a reasonably quiet day.The S&P/NZX 50 Index traded in a range of 12,866.55 and 12,932.33 and closed at 12,896.95, up 0.28 points or 0.0022%.Auckland International Airport jumped 19.5c or 2.41% to $8.27 following strong demand for its block of 163.23 million shares or 9.71% shareholding, offered by Auckland Council through its Future Funds trustees.The on-market sale was handled by UBS NZ, which bo...
