The New Zealand sharemarket started the new week on a positive note, and telecommunications network provider Chorus came out firing with a pledge to be more competitive. The S&P/NZX 50 Index climbed in the afternoon and closed at 13,114.68, up 47.76 points or 0.37% after reaching an intraday low of 13,027.79. There were 37.66 million share transactions worth $154.23m.'Under-penetrated markets'In the United States over the weekend (NZ time), the Dow Jones Industrial Average hit a fresh high and neared the 45,000 mark after...
