Markets may be muted after reports of around three dozen covid-19 cases in a Beijing hospital renewed concerns about the virus outbreak. China’s Global Times said a central Beijing hospital reported 36 cases of covid-19 and said those infected at the Fuxing Hospital in Xicheng district were eight medical workers, nine cleaning staff and 19 patients along with their families.  South Korea, meanwhile, reported an increase in cases and Japan reported two deaths.
