ASX-listed mining company Santana Minerals has applied for a secondary listing on the New Zealand Exchange.The company is working through the foreign exempt listing process subject to NZ Exchange (NZX) approval, with a targeted listing date of July 24 under the ticker SMI.The application follows the discovery of the single largest gold discovery in NZ in 40 years by Santana subsidiary Matakanui Gold.The move to list on the NZX main board will be welcome news for the exchange, which has seen a string of delistings this year.
