Global advertising spending will surpass US$1 trillion in 2024, one year earlier than previously expected, according to a forecast from media investment group GroupM. GroupM, a unit of advertising giant WPP, had forecast in June that global ad spending would hit US$1 trillion (NZ$1.7t) in 2025.
