The future of student and community radio could come under threat from a merged RNZ-TVNZ if the enlarged state broadcaster launches a youth radio station, a board member at 95bFM has warned.Sam Irvine, a board executive at the Auckland-based station, said community radio and student broadcasters could take a financial hit if plans for the national broadcaster include a dedicated youth platform.Irvine said New Zealand needs to be careful not to create a "behemoth" that has little oversight or control and believes any post-merger entity...
