Sky TV has confirmed it's in talks to buy radio and outdoor advertising group MediaWorks in a move that would transform the NZ media sector. Sky, itself the subject of takeover speculation in recent weeks, said it is in “exclusive negotiations” with MediaWorks shareholders over a deal to buy the radio and out of home advertising group.The talks were announced following a report in the Australian Financial Review (AFR).A deal remains “highly uncertain,” Sky said in a stock market announcement this morning, with d...
