TVNZ and Radio New Zealand will be brought together under a single crown entity after the government moved ahead with plans to combine the state broadcasters.Broadcasting and media minister Kris Faafoi this afternoon confirmed the long-awaited decision to create a new state media organisation that will become the parent group for TVNZ and RNZ.Two broadcasters will "initially" become subsidiaries of the organisation, however, the announcement did not rule out the two being folded into the new entity over time.The autonomous group will...
