Logistics and freight firm Move Logistics has cancelled its order for a purpose-built coastal cargo vessel and says it will focus on growing its trans-Tasman shipping agency.The ‘roll-on roll-off’ freighter was at the design stage and had been commissioned last September from a Vietnamese shipyard. It had initially been due for delivery this year. Its cost, pegged at US$12 million (NZ$20.5m), was partly funded by a $10m grant by Waka Kotahi NZ.
