New car regos fell 1.6% in November from a year earlier

By Jenny Ruth Dec. 4 (BusinessDesk) - The Motor Industry Association says the market for new vehicles is in a “steady as she goes” state with registrations falling 1.6 percent to 14,359 in November compared with the same month a year earlier. Year-to-date registrations are up 1.4 percent on the same period last year. “While growth in the new vehicle market remains only marginally up on 2017, the outturn year-to-date is encouraging,” said MIA chief executive David Crawford.
