Former Restaurant Brands chief financial officer Grant Ellis has been elected as president of the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand Council for 2025. In 2024, Ellis had been the CA ANZ’s New Zealand vice-president – a role now filled by Julia Fink, the CFO of the Climate Change Commission. Elected by the CA ANZ membership each year, the council is responsible for appointing and evaluating the organisation's board.
