MicroGEM's covid-19 saliva test goes on sale in US

MicroGEM's Spitfire 6830 saliva test for covid-19 that emanated from New Zealand science is now on sale in the United States.MicroGEM chair Danny Chan, who is a Kiwi, said the test has completed all the validations required to get US Food & Drug Administration approval.The validations included the limit of detection, clinical evaluation, inclusivity and cross-reactivity.The tests are available to groups certified under US Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (high-complexity testing labs) who manage point-of-care sites in the US.M...
