New assistant governor to join RBNZ

Juliet Tainui-Hernandez has been appointed assistant governor and general manager of transformation and people, completing the Reserve Bank’s seven-person senior leadership team.Tainui-Hernandez is of Ngai Tahu and Whakatohea descent and has worked with local iwi and a large NZ law firm before heading to Australia, Hong Kong, and England.Her experience includes litigation and dispute resolution, risk management and regulatory compliance, strategy, development and delivery of business transformation projects, as well as broad people manage...
