One New Zealand is set to launch its satellite to mobile texting service “shortly”, following SpaceX becoming licensed in the US.Elon Musk’s SpaceX was picked by One NZ to be the provider of its satellite-to-mobile connectivity in 2023.Following testing, the telco was waiting on SpaceX to get its operator licence from the US Federal Communications Commission.The granting of the licence was announced on social media by SpaceX senior engineer Ben Longmier.One NZ head of corporate communications Nicky Preston said the Starlink &l...
