One NZ's SpaceX satellite TXT service goes live

With help from SpaceX, One New Zealand has become the world’s first telecom to launch a nationwide satellite TXT service. One NZ said it would roll out the service on Thursday, which aims to enhance connectivity, safety, and productivity across NZ to customers on eligible phones and plans.The new service, powered by SpaceX's Starlink technology, allows users to send and receive text messages with a clear line of sight to the sky.In the future, One NZ expected voice calling and data to also be available via satellite.Joe Goddard,...
