North Island gas and lines company Powerco has appointed Jason Franklin as its new chief executive. He replaces James Kilty, who left the company last month to become CEO of Transpower.Franklin is currently CEO of South Island lines company PowerNet, a position he has held since 2012. He will take up the new position on April 28.Until then, Powerco’s chief financial officer Chris Taylor will continue as acting CEO.
