SkyCity closes Adelaide casino

Covid restrictions have forced the closure of SkyCity’s Adelaide casino.The gambling operator told the NZX its Adelaide casino would close for six days until Nov. 24. Adelaide is introducing “circuit breaker” covid restrictions in response to a new cluster.The closure would also delay opening of a A$330 million expansion at the casino which had been set for late November, the company said.It has been a tumultuous week for SkyCity.
