NZ dollar a tad higher against greenback ahead of US jobs data

By Rebecca Howard May 3 (BusinessDesk) - The New Zealand dollar was slightly higher but remained largely range-bound ahead of the US jobs data later this week. The kiwi dollar traded at 70.17 US cents as at 5pm in Wellington versus 69.88 US cents as at 8am and 70.12 cents late yesterday. The trade-weighted index was at 73.27 from 73.25.
