NZ dollar regains some ground following post-RBNZ slump
Sept. 11 (BusinessDesk) - The New Zealand dollar regained some ground following a sharp sell-off spurred by the Reserve Bank statement yesterday, although it under-performed the Australian dollar as market sentiment improved overnight. The kiwi dollar rose to 63 US cents as at 8:30am in Wellington, from 62.62 cents late yesterday and from 63.85 cents immediately before the Reserve Bank's monetary policy statement.  Stocks on Wall Street gained overnight, with the Standard & Poor's 500 Index up 0.5 percent.
