The country’s first hydrogen truck stops could be operating mid-2021 after the government committed $20 million toward the $69 million project.The investment will help fund construction of eight fuelling stations in Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Taranaki, Taupo, Manawatu, Wellington and Christchurch.The stations, some of which will make their own fuel on-site, will all supply renewably-sourced hydrogen from day one, developer Hiringa Energy said.Chief executive Andrew Clennett said the government commitment meant ordering of long-lead...
