Politicians should have greater confidence to invest in infrastructure due to population growth outstripping official projections, a consultant says.Last year, EY partner Chris Money carried out work suggesting New Zealand could grow to 6 million people by 2038.Due to record migration – in the year to January, net migration was 133,800 – he had to revise the forecast.
