New Zealand and the UK have inked a free trade agreement in principle that immediately removes more than 97% of tariffs impacting NZ exports. “We’ve got an agreement in principle here. The deal is done,” said prime minister Jacinda Ardern.  Negotiators will now work to finalise the full legal text of the agreement and wrap up negotiations.The aim is to do that before the end of the year so the deal can come into force in 2022.Once fully implemented the deal is expected to save exporters $37.8 million a year based on...
