Godfrey Hirst has removed any claims for damages in its high court case against NZX-listed Bremworth but it’s not backing down on its accusation that Bremworth is greenwashing.In 2020, Bremworth, which has manufacturing facilities in Napier, Whanganui and Papatoetoe, adopted a new strategy that saw it shift to 100% New Zealand wool fibres for the production of wool carpets.At the time, it said things like the average NZ home with synthetic carpet is similar to having 22,000 plastic bags on the floor.Godfrey Hirst, owned by US-based Mohawk...
