China sanction fallout would be dire for NZ

The US has warned China it won’t stand by if it supports Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, ratcheting up concern New Zealand exporters could be hit by fallout from a disagreement between the two nations.“From both a trade and security relations point of view we really can’t afford to get offside with either China or the US,” said ANZ agri economist Susan Kilsby.According to CNN, the US has told its allies China has conveyed a willingness to assist Russia.
