Synlait Milk’s outgoing chief financial officer Nigel Greenwood has some simple advice for his replacement: “learn to sleep faster.” Greenwood is leaving the business after a 10-year stint as CFO that saw the milk processor go from being in breach of its banking covenants in 2010, to reporting its maiden profit two years later, to now having a market capitalisation of $1.3 billion.
