The ANZ Bank strongly disputes claims by Federated Farmers that New Zealand banks have colluded in setting emissions targets as part of a global banking alliance.Federated Farmers has called on NZ banks to pull out of the Net Zero Banking Alliance (NZBA) after the sudden withdrawal of the six largest United States banks in December and January.That follows a recent request to the Commerce Commission (ComCom) to investigate NZ banks for anti-competitive practices within their net-zero lending policies.Federated Farmers claims the NZBA membership...
