Fonterra forecasts highest NZ milk collections in four years

Fonterra Co-operative Group expects its New Zealand milk collections to be its highest in four years this season.In its latest Global Dairy Update, published on Friday, the co-op said it expected to collect 1.498 billion kilograms of milksolids (kgMS) in the current dairy season.That would be the highest since the 2020/21 season when it collected 1.53b/kgMS.Fonterra collected 1.47b/kgMS in the most recent dairy season.'Really strong'The current season, which started in June, is past the peak production month of October.
