Dairy giant Fonterra has suspended exports to Russia as the invasion of Ukraine unfolds.“While food, including dairy, is generally exempt from international sanctions regimes and can be traded, we have suspended shipments of product to Russia while we continue to monitor developments," said Simon Tucker, Fonterra’s director of global stakeholder affairs.The amounts involved aren’t material for the cooperative.Fonterra exports a small number of products to Russia, primarily butter, totalling about 1% of its annual exports....
