Forestry study urges focus on biofuel, steelmaking alternatives

New Zealand should accelerate investigation of wood-based liquid fuels and alternatives to coal in steelmaking as part of its efforts to reduce emissions and widen the scope of the country’s forestry industry, consultants say.
